IXL
IXL is a program that allows me to assign problem sets - usually as homework. These problem sets are skill based. Even though this is a digital program, the expectation is that students are using paper & pencil to solve the problems! When assigned as homework, students need to work on the problem set for 20 minutes. At the end of the 20 minutes, students may CHOOSE to accept the score (in the lower right corner), or to continue working to increase their score. Login at ixl.com/signin/eusd. Students login using CLEVER at www.clever.com.
My IXL policy is that students spend at least 20 minutes on their assignment. Students who reach 100% early, can be done early. Students who have not reached 100% by the end of the 20 minutes have two choices: 1) accept the score in the lower right of their screen, or 2) continue working until they get a higher score.
